The Longfellow Children's Center Clubhouses


We are excited to be offering a new, ultra convenient childcare option for busy parents.*
We hope this will allow parents to do errands, shopping, schedule doctor's appointments
and more with ease. We offer special programs on "no school days" and some holidays.

 

  • Open Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 6:00pm
  • Children enjoy our wonderful new indoor and outdoor playgrounds for year-round active play
  • Licensed by the Office for Childcare Services
  • For children ages 2.9 years (toilet trained) and up
  • Parents may reserve an hour or a whole day, depending on their needs
  • Children participate in a variety of classes at no extra charge
  • Space can be reserved up to 24 hours in advance
  • Hourly fee for service

During the afternoon school age children participate in a variety of activities. The fun includes:

Free play includes indoor free play on our "amazing maze" and treehouse outdoor play on our new "Jupiter" climbing structure and playspace.

1:30 - 2:15 Musical movement

*Parents must register their children in advance by filling out an information packet and providing medical forms. These packets can be picked up at the Children's Center, or mailed out by request. There is no registration fee, and once completed, children may attend the program as needed.

Early Release Days
The Big Kids Clubhouse will be open from noon until 6pm on early release days. Please call for reservations. Remember to call for holiday schedule and school closing information. (We may be open even if school is canceled.!)

Reservations
Reservations are necessary. Please call to 24 hours in advance to sign your child up. Cancellations are required by noon the previous day. A two-hour cancellation fee will be processed for any cancellations that do not meet these criteria.

Payments
All payments will be made with play cards for time. This reduces the delays inherent in processing cash payments at pick up times. Time is calculated on 1/2 hour increments, and will be stamped at time of pick up. Discounts are available when more than one play card is purchased on the same day. Please ask about our Longfellow Family Member special pricing and our sibling discount plan. Play cards for both programs programs are as follows:

2 Play Cards 20 hours $110. $5.50/hour Lunch cards must be purchased in advance. Snacks are included for both programs. Please note: No outside food is permitted at the Center. This protects children with allergies and allows for nutritious choices for all children in our programs.
3 Play Cards 30 hours $150. $5.00/hour
4 Play Cards 40 hours $180. $4.50/hour
