Living
in Balance
Promoting optimum health and weight loss by living a
balanced and healthy life through proper nutrition,
exercise, a positive attitude and relaxation.
|
|
Living
in Balance is a comprehensive lifestyle enhancement and weight management
program that supports individuals in achieving their goals, feeling better
about themselves and enjoying life.
Our guiding principles are based on the ancient concept of balance. Balance
is a dynamic condition of equilibrium, proportion and harmony. In this
program, we work to discover ways that our lifestyle can be enhanced to
create happiness and well-being.
Living
in Balance is offered in a relaxed, supportive, and fun atmosphere
and operates under the premise that by making healthy choices we can all
improve our health and experience peace of mind and inner tranquility

Highlights

Jane
Polley and Stacey Scanlon are happy to set up an appointment with you at
no charge to discuss Living in Balance and together determine if
the program would be something you would be interested in joining. Program
features include:
- Weekly
group meetings
- One
private coaching session with Jane or Stacey
- A
healthy and realistic nutrition plan developed on an individual basis
to inspire a lifelong commitment to healthy eating habits. This
comprehensive plan will help you to achieve peak performance at work,
home and in athletics.
- A
weight loss strategy that will break the cycle of dieting and result
in long-term success. We DO NOT sell any nutritional products so the
focus is entirely on a well balanced plan that meets your personal goals.
- Individual
fitness coaching sessions by the staff of the Longfellow Clubs fitness
departments.
- Special
presentations on the various aspects of cardiovascular conditioning,
weight training, flexibility, and a wide variety of exercise programs
available at the Longfellow Clubs.
- Specific
goals program which includes a variety of proven techniques that will
help you prioritize your time and manage stress.
- Visualization
exercises, affirmations, and positive reframing techniques to
inspire permanent lifestyle changes.
- Diabetes
management and prevention.
All
this is done in the context of connecting the relationship of nutrition
and exercise to self esteem. We will create opportunities to make lifestyle
changes and to grow as a person.
